This is the flow that works, and the cases that do not.
The flow
- Open the video pin on Pinterest and save it to a board. A new board called "Video" works if you want them in one place, or a section on a board you already use.
- Open that board in Chrome, Firefox or Edge with Unpinned installed.
- Click Unpinned and choose Download board.

What lands in the ZIP
The file Pinterest stores. For video pins that is an MP4 at the highest resolution Pinterest holds, with the audio track if the pin had one. Unpinned does not re-encode, strip audio or add a watermark. File names come from the pin, so a video is findable later.
Images on the same board arrive as JPEG or PNG at full size. The Pinterest board downloader page shows the folder layout.
Each video counts as one pin against the free plan's 50 per day. Pro removes the cap.
What does not work yet
A single video pin with no board. There is no "download this video" button on a pin page yet. Saving to a board first is the workaround, and it takes a few seconds. Direct single-video download is on the way.
Pins that embed a player. Some pins are links to a YouTube or Vimeo page rather than a video Pinterest hosts. Those are not files, so Unpinned skips them. If the pin plays inside Pinterest without a third-party logo, it is hosted by Pinterest and downloads.
Multi-page video pins. Pinterest stores these as a set of clips. You get what Pinterest exposes for the pin, which is not always every page.

Why save to a board first
It is a small extra click. The useful side is that a video pin rarely belongs alone. The stills from the same shoot, the same brand, the same moodboard are already on that board.
