Pinterest has no export. There is no setting that hands you a board as files. Unpinned downloads the entire board as a ZIP of original images and videos, with each section as a folder. What "export a Pinterest board" actually means
Export usually means one of two things, and only one of them is a real help for design work.
The first is a spreadsheet. Some tools scrape a board into a CSV of pin links and titles. Fine for auditing a board or handing a list to someone else. It is not the pictures, and it is not a backup. The second is the board itself. Every image and video, at the size Pinterest stores it, in one ZIP named after the board. If the board has sections, each section becomes a folder inside that ZIP, so "Kitchen / Lighting / Tiles" shows up on disk the same way. That is what Unpinned does. How to download a Pinterest board with Unpinned

What lands in the ZIP

The ZIP name is the board name plus your username, so a second download does not vanish into a pile of download.zip.
Paste-a-link sites cannot do this. They run on a server that is not logged into Pinterest, so they never see a full board.
